It’s the second time i am visiting Istanbul. I feel, like when i firstly visited it, that it won’t be the last! The old church of Hagia Sophia, once a muslim mosque and now a museum, is one of the reasons i have chosen to travel to Istanbul again. 1500 years after its construction it still stands magnificently.

Like when the emperor Justinian exclaimed, excited as he was, ” I won you Salomon “. Likewise, in front of this man-made creation, i stand for the second time, feeling too small compared with its magnitude. The photo will become a new memory and at the same time a motive to travel again, a third time. Hagia Sophia will stand there, waiting…
